Hi there. Quaker peaches and cream oatmeal is what I'm going to classify as being "mostly" healthy. Sure, I could pick out some things to criticize about it, such as the added sugar it comes with, but I don't want to scare you away from eating oatmeal as it is quite healthy. It's especially better than cereals like froot loops. Your Quaker oatmeals comes with fiber to help your cholesterol levels and keeping you 'regular', plus it's a good complex carbohydrate that is relatively slow burning, meaning you will get an even keeled level of energy from it.

I think that there is a lot of sugar in the instant, prepackaged oatmeals, not matter where you get them, along with other ingredients to keep them fresh for years to come. You're best bet would be to go for the stove-top quaker oats, they only take about 10 minutes or less, something you can put on the stove while you getting dressed or something. You can buy natural, organic instant oatmeal and they might be a bit better, but probably still contain a lot of sugar.

It is healthier than bacon and eggs. It is low in calories and fat but the sugar content is high. It can be eaten on a "diet" to lose weight. If you want a healthier alternative then make oatmeal and put your own fruit in it. The quick oats are the easiest. I make them in the microwave. You can make them for one serving or up to 4 servings. I use equal to sweeten mine.
