My cats Run really really fast back and forth back and forth and 100% of the time when they act like that there is an earthquake that follows

My cat and I lived in Orange County for a year and we had a few tiny earthquakes. She didn't do anything crazy before they happened. (At least nothing crazier than normal - LOL!) After an earthquake she would just look around, and then go back to business as usual.

I live in CA and I've never seen any evidence that either my cat or my dogs behave differently before an earthquake.

None of my cats has ever given me any forewarning that something is going to happen. If the shaker is strong enough, the cats will sit up and look around, look at me like I just made the whole building shake (they give me more credit then I deserve) and then it takes them a while to settle back down again (but it takes me a while too to feel assured that that shaker wasn't just a prelude to a bigger, nastier one).

My cat would sleep, and eat. He can't sense anything coming but food. lol
