I would go to the doctor. It could be anything. I highly doubt it's tapeworm, though... How old are you? Horrible stomach pains could be anything from your gallbladder to acid reflux. (didn't know acid reflux could cause that until my doc told me) Could be an ulcer, too. Could be ANYTHING! If it is bothersome...see your doctor!!!

Tape Worms look like 1/4 inch piece of white tape and will be hanging out of your butt!!!
Ya got any thing like that!
Have you been eating ****, that is where they come from, you have to eat them.
People who are skinny and "say" they eat a lot, are usually eating the wrong things. If you are stuffing your self with lettuce that does not count.
If you are ordering a super size big mack and fries and only eating a few bites, that doesn't count either,,, Drink Slim fast or some other diet drink 5 times a day. Eat three complete meals ( eat it all) and have three snacks. look at a calorie count to make sure you are taking in at least 3000 calories a day ( not including the slim fast) and stop exercising, try laying on the couch for a couple of months. What you described is not a tape worm it is starvation.

First off you need to eat products that may contain tape worms, which is rather rare depending on your location.
But if you have a tapeworm you basically eat tuns of food and gain no weight. Another sure factor is that the tapeworm itself will break off and kind of regenerate itself within you, meaning you should see parts of it in your stool. Plus it wouldn't happen twice a week.. it would be constant. This parasitic creature is kind to your insides; their are people that know they have a tapeworm and live with them with no pain.

id have money on you not having a tapeworm, check yourself when you use the bathroom, a tapeworm can grow huge lengths inside your instestine and just sit there feeding off the food you eat, it partly breaks of in little segments like flat tic-tacs (white), believe me you would know. a whole tape worm looks like a very long piece of flat spaghetti 6ft long plus. in the western world they are alkmost unheard of. go to the docs, i suspect its not though, dont worry, look at what you eat, try eating just natuarl products, fruit vegetables proper meat, not pies or processed/man made food, give your body some help by feeding it naturally, then see your doc. your body is a self healing machine if it has the resources (proper food) good luck

Please see a doctor. Tapeworms are rare in most developed countries, but if you live somewhere outside a developed country, it's possible. I once had a tapeworm when I was in the Peace Corps. I didn't get the pains you have had, but I did see segments in my bowel movements. If you get tested, all you have to do is take in a stool (bowel) specimen to your doctor. Your doctor will send it to a lab where they'll look for segments or signs of other parasites. It sounds like you have something going on, but probably not a parasite. Please see a doctor.
