Help! Mailing Labels can you tell me what settings to use?

Question

I am using Microsoft Office 2007 - and I would like to print a sheet of 30 labels - different addresses - using labels size 6.7cm x 2.5cm - do you know what margins settings I should use to get perfect results - because I am not getting perfect results now. If I print 30 with the same address - they are prefect - but with a selection of addresses - it is a nightmare!

Any help would be very much appricated.

I suggest checking the label packaging - most of the time there are instructions for getting a label template off the web. Then you will get a word document with the exact right spacing that you can just cut and paste your addresses into.

In MS Word - use the Mail Merge option.

Check the label package to find out what standard you are using as MS Word comes with some Avery templates and some others (also, many label companies will let you download the template for MS Word from their websites).

Then use Letters and Mailings - Mail merge Wizard and use the Labels option. After you select your file containing the list of addresses, insert the address fields, then it will allow you to copy the formatted address fields layout to all the labels. When you see the "" tag in the field, it will be printing the second address on your list, not a whole page of the same address. This should not change your format, unless you have some addresses with five lines and some with three. But using the label-company template will restrict this so they fit.

As far as I know, can either use ONE address for a whole page of 30 labels
Or you can print one at a time when you need a variety of addresses.
If there's another way, Ito print a VARIETY of addresses, on ONE page, at the SAME time......I'd like to know also!
It may require a specific software program, other than office.
