We're not, fullstop. Yes, we have differences, we can speak, that means nothing, a fish can survive underwater for long periods, birds can fly. Just because we think we are more aware, that means nothing, go into a jungle and we'll see how superior you are. Many animals have better features, fish - living in water, birds flying. Theres no excuse, we are animals, intelligent animals, and dominant, but lots of animals are domiant in their own ways. Theres no excuse. And please don't quote the bible as if it is some factbook, i don't believe and therefore any bible answers will mean nothing to me. We may be dominant at modern world and technology (not nature), but that does NOT mean we are better or superior.

Mankind has enslaved and dominated animals for years and there haven't been any organized animal revolutions against us yet.

When you have all of the power you tend to feel superior even if you're not.

A person can fly, in an airplane. A person can breathe under water, with a scuba tank. A person can go to the Moon, with a rocket. Basically people have found ways to do anything that an animal can do, and more. People are pretty good at everything, but animals are only good at one thing. A fish can't fly and even a bird can't fly to the Moon.

You said that, "we are animals, intelligent animals, and dominant, but lots of animals are dominate in their own ways", but I say that we dominate in every way, not just one way. However, with great power comes great responsibility. We have the power to totally dominate all animals, and so we have the responsibility not to abuse that power. Perhaps that is what you were really getting at with this question.

There is no excuse? For what? Biologically speaking we are superior to other animals, beyond any question. You are remarkably ignorant of the diverse accomplishments of human beings. We live in jungles, we live in the arctic, we live in the deserts. Humans can fly, we make tools that allow us to do so. We can live underwater, we make tools that allow us to do that as well. Yes each animal species has unique qualities that allow it to thrive in its given environment, but they cannot adapt to changes. A polar bear is great in the arctic, but will die very quickly in a desert, the same for a camel sent to the arctic. But humans can go from one to the other and survive because we can think, and adapt to the changes.

I don't think anyone will accuse you of being smarter than any animal.

um... when I see a chipmunk build a skyscraper, or cure cancer, then I will say you might have a point.
