My fiance is very allergic to walnut trees, most trees in fact, so we were wondering if that means he would also be allergic to eating walnuts. He always seems to have an upset stomach after eating them. We wonder if it due to the allergies or just a coincidence

+ It's possible.. If he gets an upset stomach then he shouldn't eat them!
My sister is allergic to Maple Trees but she can still eat Maple Syrup or stuff made out of maple.
So it really depends on the person

You better be extra careful about trying tree nuts until you can get tested. These nut allergies are a real pain! Be sure to have a couple of Benadryl capsules with you when you leave home just in case you have an allergic reaction. It won't stop the reaction like an Epi Pen but it will control some symptoms.
