How can modern church women wearing pants witness to cross-dressers????

For your information; breeches were designed by God in fact for the Levitical priests and were never associated with women ever. Men's and women's dress certainly differentiated between the sexes. Not only did long hair on women and beards on men separate the sexes, the men wore girdles and their head coverings were different. Many Muslims dress like the Jews did in ancient times. Consider that women the world over have considered dresses feminine attire until the early 1900's it was also considered women's attire in America. As Christians are part of a heavenly culture, why let Hollywood Harlots and Sodomite clothing designers dictate what is masculine or feminine for God's people? How one dresses speaks volumes about who they are. What are your clothes saying? When is the last time Christians looked up shamefacedness and modest? Definitely a woman in indecent clothes can't very well preach on proper attire for a cross-dresser or in a mini-skirt, Tammy Faye makeup and jewelry

advising a girl on the streets. I say it completely negates the witness. That said, modesty without sound doctrine or charity won't get you anywhere but is merely works of the flesh and self-righteousness. Dressing to please God not men is being in obedience rather than sacrificing. That is not self-righteousness. Know the difference. Christian women argue with God's laws as much as sinners ever did today to justify what their flesh wants to do. I was approached by a man who said the way I dressed told him I was not a loose woman who had been around the block. (True.) Interesting enough, he did not preach it to his family or church, his wife dressed like a harlot (shorts to the thighs) and committed adultery. If it didn't make effeminate men feel like a woman, they wouldn't wear long hair and dresses!!

to answer the question yes dress does affect witness. Short skirts make men want to see or think about other things rather than the skirt. Low shirts make us understand something is being sold and do we have the price to pay for what is being sold.
If History is any clue then consider this. In all of known time of history well for the Bibles sake lets say 6,000 years ago Adam and Eve fell until today Men wore pants and women wore dresses and robes or whatever/ coats and things over this. but in the last 100 years a steady decline of morals and rights of women has been increasing to a point is imaginable to have a woman lead our country. That maybe a indicator of the signs of the End time. But lets forget about history for a minute because many people say things change and people change with the times. But God does not change from the Old testament to the New Testament and here is where Jesus said so; Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
So let us say also that if God never changed then neither did Jesus; Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Now if God doesn't change and Jesus doesn't change why is it OK for so called Christians- followers of Jesus to disobey God's word. I promise to you it is not OK and look at Adam and Eve not eatting some fruit and compare this to you saying Oh I know God said that but he did not mean what he said, he really meant this??? who does that sound like, maybe the Serpent.
Here is what the problem is with pants on a woman; Deuteronomy 22:5 The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.
Now maybe you do not care what the God of the Old Testament says but let me list a few other abominations unto the Lord so you can compre your wearing pants to these things;
Deuteronomy 23:18 Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the LORD thy God.
Deuteronomy 24:4 Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
Deuteronomy 12:31 Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
I hope my list has made it perfectly clear how God feels about wearing pants is to God, but I realize there are many other voices that would comfort you with it does not matter as long as your heart is right, But I promise to you that you will answer for disobeying God's word; 1 Samuel 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
And if you preach something else than what God's word Paul put a curse upon you; Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

I dont think its a matter of wearing pants or not but to still look like the gender you are. If it was the style for men to wear skirts and they still looked like men in them and were not trying to appear as a woman, then that would be the same thing. In Biblical times, men and women wore pretty much the same things, you could tell men from women by their hair and facial hair basically, since their build was not emphisized in their clothing. They didnt have business suits or push up bras or anything in their clothing that specified their gender. However, prostitutes (male and female) wore their hair certain ways, wore a lot of jewellery and painted their faces.
So really, when people say women HAVE to wear dresses, they make it much harder to witness to others. Just men should look like men and women should look like women. Pretty simple.

Holidays fall into two basic categories, religious or political. The customs associated with Christmas and Easter have roots in pagan religion. As such someone who professes to be a Christian would have nothing to do with them. The political holidays are avoided so that one could follow Jesus' example of not getting involved with the world.

The way you dress doesn't enable you to witness. If you believe God created people, then I'd have to say He created them with a spiritual need. A person at the lowest or neediest point of their life will look past your dress and into your heart. But I would think your credibility would be shakey if you're sitting there naked touting what God has done for you.

I agree with most of what you wrote- except the pants part(I am not talking about the but crack pants- they are bad) but, most men in the biblical times wore tunics-viewed as a dress today- so... why should we believe anything a man in pants says? I do agree that most Christians should be modest but a nice pair of pants is not harlot apparel in my eyes. cross dressers wear womens clothes or appear as a man(hair-the way they walk etc) not necessarily the fact they wear pants.
