are doctors good to date generally?

just being curious, I mean the doctors I go to are nice people, but it's doctor-patient, so they have to be nice. what are they like in general? and they see nake people all the time, does it make them more difficult to get aroused? :P

I make enough money to support myself and my parents and thinking of buying a house. I am fairly independent and can take care myself, definitely not seeking rich people. Would this turn them off since I am not needy and will treat them the same just like any other people?

I am very interested in how the body works and reacts to herbs and food, but don't want to work with people that are ill.

lol ,a doctor is a normal person he has no problems getting aroused ,and when sees ppl naked its for causes of treating them not sexually interested ,but with whom he loves he is totally normal ,i am a doctor and i spent years doing all u can imagine to ppl but for medical purposes ,like in ob and gyn al day doing pv doesnt mean i seek sex i seek treatment ,and diagnosis ,

You can separate yourself from naked with a patient and naked with a mate. It is not fact that after a while they all look the same. The problem with dating a Doctor is not whether or not he/she is nice but wether or not you can live with the demands on his/her time. This is not a 9-5 job and some people can't handle the leaving at a moments notice for an emergency. Same with firemen,police and military.

I doubt the arousal thing is a factor. There is a time and a place for everything.

I would say that a doctor who specializes in non-emergent things like podiatry, pediatrics, opthalmology, etc. is better to date or marry than one who can be called out at a moment's notice like ob/gyn, surgeon...you get the picture by now, I'm sure.

But not medical - Doctor of Chemistry.

My wife says I'm not allowed to date. But if I was, I think you'd find I am a nice guy.

Most of the people medical doctors see naked are not the sort that arouse them, most likely.

They aren't great to be with you, but with me! I know some lovely ones, and as they aren't my doctors..oh so much the better. I would love to take his children to school and keep his home neat.
Only snobs know snobs..and these guys are far from being that. I would rather marry a doctor than a lawyer and certainly not a psychologist.

I am not sure about this since I have never dated one. I would say that profession shouldn't really matter. I am sure that there are doctors who are good to date and some that aren't, just like everyone else.

It depends on the doctor. I've dated one off and on for years. He's great, very funny and fun to be hang out with.

lol... doctors are human, too! sometimes their schedules might get in the way of a normal relationship... so my advice to you is this: if you're the dependent type who needs to see/ talk to your romantic partner every single day, then, no, it's not a good idea for you to date a doctor.

One thing to think about it most Docs are very committed to their work, and can be paged for an emergency at odd hours. So you may have to take a back seat to his or her job.

doctors are normal people too. they will feel the feelings like we are.they just happened to touch girls bodies for free without being arrested,and im sure they can be a good date considering the fact that when comes to sex,they already know how to touch you expertly
