I think she would lie to try and keep you from leaving her. I would really have to say that lying about being pregnant shows that she is very imature. being pregnant is a serious thing. If you are trying to have a baby that's one thing but if the relationship is not serious please don't bring a baby into this world. It isn't fair,babies don't ask to be brought into this world and have the parents fight all the time, get divorced and play a tug of war and all that goes along with shared parenting.

So she could see where she really stood in the relationship, would he run or stay if I got pregnant. Selfish and stupid are the only two things I can say about your gf, she is obviously very insecure and looking for you to fill the void. I would dump her in a heartbeat, if she played that game. Selfish,stupid,insecure,game playing, do these sound like words that describe a woman who loves you and wants what is best for the both of you? Think about it.

Well for one thing she could be afraid and not know how to tell you. She could be afraid of the reaction she may get. Or the other reason would be that the baby is not yours. But hopefully that isn't the case. She was probably just worried.

maybe she thinks she may lose you, and by telling you she is pregnant may keep you around, considering there is a baby on the way.the only thing is its not true, and she has to come up with an excuse for as to why shes not anymore.it can cause more damage than anything

Maybe she is really is pregnant but she's going to get an abortion. I dont know. You should deffently talk with her. Good luck to both you and your girlfriend. Are her breasts like bigger over a month or two time period? If so she might be.

either she is unsure of the babies paternity or she is afraid of your reaction, you may get angry,abusive or break up with her. Or she might not want it and she didnt want to get your hopes up. if she is pregnant she would not be thinking straight her hormones would be out of control and she must feel lost. talk to her about why and tell her how it made you feel. but wait til the baby comes or she will be all hormonal and wont react all that well.

maybe she's not sure if it's the best thing to be pregnant,if its her first child she probably just feel scared you could try to talk to her about that issue and ask her why it happened,you should be comphrehensive, if later you ahve doubts take a dna test and she'll probably feel insulted but is she is sure that its your baby she doesnt have to fear anything.

probably because your immature, in mind if not in body. If she is get a good job, you will need it. If she is not, break up and run for the hills...it only goes downhill from here.

There are lots of reasons someone would lie about it...you need to ask her why she did it.
