Eurostar.

It goes through the Chunnel.

Having done it myself, it was uneventful. It's just another long train tunnel. One minute, you're sailing along through Calais, when the train goes through a bridge, for something like 15 minutes, then you're in the English countryside.

Take 'Eurostar' fast train from Gare du nord station in Paris, and arrive about 3 hours later in the heart of London, at Waterloo station.

I always use the Eurostar. It is cheaper if you book ahead. You can get tickets for 77 euros round trip - but as I said you have to book ahead and these tickets are on a "use it or bin it" conditions. I don't understand all the people who say the plane is cheaper. Plane tickets are usually not very flexible anyway, unless you pay top prices. The train is also very much more relaxed. You have to go to the station half an hour before the train leaves (they are trying to behave like an airline), then sit peacefully in the train until you arrive in central London. The plane trip is all hassle - getting to the airport, standing in line to register, waiting around to board the plane, waiting around for take off, waiting to collect baggage, then the hassle of getting to London. It's just no contest.

You go to Gare du Nord. Take there the Eurostar (the train that gets under the channel) and it will take you directly to London.

It's about 1 hour or 1:30 of travel

Try Eurostar if the thought of being on a train under water doesn't scare you. It's the fastest and cheapest way to travel to and from both cities.

1. You go to the train station and purchase a ticket from paris to london.
2. You pay for the ticket.
3. You get on the appropriate train at the appropriate time.
4. Poof, you are in london.

Come on, stupid question, stupid answer.
