Are state colleges more expensive???

Private schools are usually more expensive than state colleges (with a few exceptions for out of state students). However, you will not get more grant based aid if you go to a private school over a state school, but you might (just might) have more eligibility to get more loans. In other words there are many reasons going to a private over a public college doesn't make sense.

Good Luck!!!

You will get more financial aid if you go to a "regular" university. This is because you will need more financial aid, because, on average, a "regular" university is a lot more expensive.

I'm still laughing about the term "regular" university.

State colleges are cheaper, but there is no way to predict whether you will get more financial aid from one college or another.
