It is the same as every year. You have to have the 1099 postmarked to the individual by Jan. 31 2007. You then have until Feb. 28 to make any corrections/voids and mail that part to the IRS with the cover page.....Blah blah blah!!!!

This is a unqie year, the Congress was late extending some of the tax laws that apply to 1099 forms. Because of that all of the companys have been given a extra 30 days to mail the 1099 forms, so dont expect to recieve them until mid feb or late feb. The wait will be worth it as it helps most of us.

By the end of February. w-2's have to be out by January 31rst but not 1099's.

1/31/2007 is the MAILING date. Don't listen to people that say you have to receive it by today - they are wrong.

By Jan. 31st, 2007 - normally, but this year is the end of February. I'm not sure why though. Good luck.

They have to be received by April 15th
