They should be cut so the split doesn't continue up the hair shaft. If you do this yourself, make sure you are using very sharp scissors designed to cut hair, otherwise the newly cut ends will be damaged, too. Best would be to see a stylist who can trim them for you, and also recommend some product or changes to your styling routine to prevent new split ends.

Split ends are damaged hairs and they need to be taken care of before they break off.

I would go to a professional to cut your split ends. You can also ask the stylist what kind of conditioner to use to help prevent them in the future.

When I go I tell the stylist that I need a trim and to cut the split ends.

It's a little more expensive than cutting them yourself...but it's a heck of a lot better to have them cut evenly by a professional then hacking at them yourself.

It actually helps your hair when you cut off your split ends, if you leave them there your hair will only start to split up causing your hair to fall out.

Yes, by cutting your split ends this gives your hair a chance to grow in nice and even. And no it doesn't your hair at all, if anything, it helps your hair

it is very good to cut your split ends. If you don't cut them, your hair will keep splitting and eventually break off. the breaking will damage your hair.

You SHOULD cut your ends. It's HIGHLY recommended. Split ends are pure damage, very unhealthy.

slipt ends r dead and gone...or they shood be gone. They make ur hair knotty and they break all over the place
