Hi!

Personally I like milk and cream.. I think that they are perfectly acceptable food and I do not like using something that does not
even taste like anything like food... It is too
unnatural. I prefer something wholesome.

What do you think?

Not at all. While obviously it is convenient, and as well there is a long shelf time, the down-side is both in the health and in the taste of it. First as far as the health concern, if you were to look at the ingredients, you will notice that there is a dehydrogenated oil, which essentially is a trans fat. We all know all of the harm that it does for people. Let's now discuss the issue of taste. It has a chalky taste. I would definitely use milk or cream. I personally use milk in my coffee because it is much too rich for me. That is the only amount of milk that I can really tolerate because of the fact that I am lactose intolerant. Otherwise I would have milk if given the choice.

No. What's the point on buying something that tastes artificial when the real stuff tastes better and is nutritional... For those who can't have dairy, I'd stay away from the creamer still. Why go through life thinking your having something that should be a no-no when in fact you're just injesting unnatural substances while feeding big-time companies the money they hunger for?

I use fat free half & half. Non dairy creamer contains corn syrup solids which makes it a little bit sweet, and I don't like sugar in my coffee. It also contains vegetable oil of all things, and sodium caseinate which is a milk product so it's not truly non dairy and will still bother people who have a milk allergy. (Although I think it's okay for those who are just lactose intolerant.) I know fat free half & half isn't completely natural either but at least it tastes like it is.

I like it because it has less calories than whole milk and because it is easily portable in the small packets. And I like to take it camping since it requires no refrigeration. If one buys the more expensive brands they are quite acceptable to my taste. To each his own- different strokes for different folks. :-)

Wow! I am supposed to worry about my health for using a teaspoon of creamer in my once- in- a- while coffee? I don't think so. I drink about 3-4 cups a month. It's not reasonable to keep liguids on hand for that small amount of use.

I like it. The one I get actually tastes creamier than milk or cream (if that is possible). I also use it in recipes that call for milk. I mix up the non dairy creamer and water in place of the milk. My family has not ever tasted the difference.

I agree. Creamer is desgusting and anything that tastes the way it does if you add it to tea should be banned!

yes, I think its quite nice in strong coffee. it's better than skimmed milk if you haven't got cream. I also keep it at work as we always run out of milk and its better than black.

well i personally have to use non-dairy creamer due to lactose intolerance so i'd rather use non-dairy than to not have coffee at all :P

"Like" is preobably not a word I'd use, but it is tolerable as long as the coffee is decent

Cannot abide the stuff in tea
