I'm 18. I was always on a rush to grow up and start on with my career. When I was 16, I graudated high school and started college. I'm glad I graduated early. But I'm angry at myself because in high school, I didn't really pay attention to Science classes, so now, in college, Science is really important. I'm just stress out that what if I fail this Anatomy class in college? I already failed Biology 100 and I'm so angry at myself because I should've study really hard.

Be mad if you want, but at least learn from it. Slow down and enjoy life. When we are young we want to be grown ups, then when we get old we wish to be young again.

You answered your own question...you "should have studied really hard". It's okay, not everyone is successful at everything, and especially not on the first attempt. This is where study groups and meetings become very helpful. You can also take time and set up a meeting with your professor to see if he/she might have a tutor or someone to help get you up to snuff on things that will be crucial in the class. Don't give up or be angry at yourself, though - everybody has little speed bumps here and there through college. I would head to the professor first and let them know what kind of situation you are in and what you feel you are missing, they are usually underestimated as far as help goes.
Take care!

first off, im sorry u missed out on 2 years of high school. Learn from you past mistakes and find a way to learn what u need to. get a tutor or a study buddy. Im a junior in college and ive failed 2 classes because i didnt actually learn and spanish in high school and i didnt pay attention in math classes so i failed calculus last semester. you will have to work harder but this is where you learn about yourself and what you are willing/capable of doing.

It's true that college is much harder than high school. It also takes much more discipline. Just dig in and study more, try joining some study groups or tutoring if you need it. Math and science are some of the hardest classes, don't take them during a summer session and try to take several easy classes with no more than 2 tougher courses.

You could waste the energy on being angry at you failure, or you could use the anger to fuel you desire to finish college. I would take this as a learning lesson, not all classes come easy. I also graduated highschool early, finding my classes easy and not challenging. Upon entering college I found everthing changed, it's not always easy, but the best things in life are earned.... I later went on to finish college, a much more humble person.

You've got your answer right there. Don't spend energy being mad at yourself, just do the best you can now. Study extra hard. I'm going to be in the same boat. I'm going to college next year and slacked in the science department for 3 years. Now I'm in chemistry and trying to compensate by understanding everything before I go to college and have to understand everything else.

well we all make mistakes, but weather to be mad at yourself or what, depends on if you learned from-your mistakes, yes there will always be should have, could haves, but there are still cans, around the corner, you just gotta be tough on yourself and study study , study, get someone to tutor you , go in early ask teacher for help, its OK to ask for help, that's what they get paid for is to teach, just keep plugging along and have faith you'll get there, good luck, keep on studying
