My friend has an admirer, and he is desperately trying to make her like him. She wants him to leave her alone (they are 14). He doesn't know she knows. What should she do apart from being mean?

Talk to him and tell him the truth

It would depend on how he is with her. When you say he won't leave her alone it's hard to know how serious it is. If it appears like he is almost stalking her I would suggest telling some adults so this boy can hopefully get some counselling.

She should get to know him. tell him she doesnt want a bf at that age. Or she could just tell him the brutal truth........ its flattering that he likes her but she doesnt feel the same way.... she wants to be friends but not anything more. He's only 14 he'll grow out of it or get over her.
Or she could get to know him and see if she might maybe like him in the future

Nothing has ever been gained by anyone from meddling in things like this. Leave the whole thing alone. It's not your problem

She should directly tell him that she does not have the same feelings for him as he does for her. She shouldn't make it sound like she is putting him down, but more like she is trying to explain something to him.

just have her tell him that she is not interested in him. she is not being maen by telling him this. she is just being honest. it would be mean for her to not do anything and just let him go on thinking that she likes him. at least by doing the above, she would be letting him off easy. hope this helps. good luck.

just tell him that she knows and ask him to cool down on her some i don't think that if she put in into her own words then she should be fine and if he doesn't back off some then you need to worry
