I am trying to put together a voice demo for my acting. I have 5 tracks on CD and on Windows Media Player. I want to take 10 second segments from each track and put them together on one track to send out. Can I do that on Windows Media Player?

Get a program call audacity. It's a free, fairly straight forward audio tool and it will merge all your tracks into one track. Windows Media Player is just that a player. You need some audio editing software. Go to http://www.snapfiles.com for other options as well.
