I'm taking amoxicillin for stret throat, and i've been taking it for about six days. Since the first day, i've had an upset stoumach, loss of appetite (food just doesnt go down right)..and i pretty much just feel like ****.
The doctor said if i stop taking it, the sore throat will come back.
Should i just finish it up and deal with the side effects or tell a doctor?

I suffered from strep throat a lot as a child. Amoxicillin is what I usually took. Trust me, the upset stomach is normal. It is a strong medicine, so make sure you eat something no matter what. I lost almost fifteen lbs. because I wouldn't want to eat. I forced myself to eat. It actually gave me the strength I needed. Anyway, FINISH the meds. It will be over before you know it. Hope you feel better soon.
