Umm......sorry, just described the practice of many but not all men who profess to be Christians but in action and dead fail to be Christians.

In none of your 9 points did you actually refer to any tenant of Christianity, so do you really expect any one who is an actual Christian to give your question serious consideration?

Or are you so closed minded as to suppose there are none out there who actually live as the profess to believe?

Thanks for your contribution.

We love ya.

Christians must by definition try to improve their behavior towards others. They are all on a journey, with some maturing more than others.

Non-christians. How are you different from the evil non-christians of the past.
1. Non-Christians still hate for people to challenge their beliefs
2. Non-Christians still try to convert the world to Non-Christianity
3. Non-Christians still go against major scientific discoveries
4. Non-Christians still try to use the threat of political correctness to convert people
5. Non-Christians are still uncomfortable around Christians
6. Non-Christians are still lying to Christians
7. Non-Christians are still violent
8. Non-Christians leaders are still committing crimes
9. Non-Christians still look down on other beliefs

You can't have encountered many good Christians then.
1. I welcome the challenge... so does God by the way.
2. Convert yes ... by force... NO
3. No we go agaist certain scientific theories... Which by the way don't change what makes a Christian ... a christian... that would be Jesus... And by the way... it was proven historically, that Jesus and his dying on the cross was accurate.
4. That is wrong to use hell as a threat.. it is our job to love.
5. Not uncomfortable...maybe some atheists are uncomfortable around christians.
6. OK...Not sure what you mean here.
7. Some claiming to be christians are but if you know the religion... then you know they are not really christian.
8. That would be catholic priests.
9. Some do....
BUT>>>BOTTOM LINE
Just because someone says they are a Christian does not make them one... they have to prove it through their actions. When people do not live the right way, those are some of the stereotypes that are believed about christians. IF you know what the religion truly is then you would not associate those things with christianity, only hypocrits.

My Atheist friend. I would suggest cleaning your own side of the street first. Hmmm. Here's an idea why not try and correct your officially communist countries like China and North Korea. Then we'll talk. I don't ind my beliefs being challenged . Nothing wrong expressing your views about your beliefs. (You do it why can't we?) False about the scientific discoveries. In fact most science has nothing to do with evolutionary theory. if hell is real then it is a real threat. I am not uncomfortable around atheists. I haven't been lying on anyone, if I have they need to move when I rollover in bed. Some Christians are violent most are not. probably same as Athiests althogh I have no statistics. What a silly comment about priests. Crimes are being committed by people of every belief system. And i disagree with many people beliefs and think some such as this are silly. So yes I do look down on some peoples beliefs as do ye.

My question is: if all of the things you say are true, then what makes you any different from us "evil Christians?" Maybe you should put the word "some" in front of all of your statements...at least then you would be admitting that not everyone is that same. Some Christians may be that way, but some of us are not...let me show you how (according to my personal beliefs) by addressing each of your statements:

1) I don't care if someone challenges my beliefs. Since I am true to them, then I have no problem explaining and defending them. Someone else's opinion will not harm me or distract me in any way.

2) I'm not trying to convert anybody...that would be futile. The Bible does say that we as Christians should spread the Word of God, so I will do that. It's up to whoever chooses to listen to either take it or leave it.

3) I am not against science or its discoveries. Scientific THEORIES, however, that try to disprove God's existence are ones I am not exactly a fan of (for example, the Big Bang Theory...sorry, but I don't believe that the world just appeared out of nowhere...I do believe it was created). However, that does not mean that I am not open to science...I will be receptive to any and all information and then decide if I believe or not.

4) Again, if a person does not wish to convert...they won't. You can tell people all day about what the Bible says as far as non-believers and hell (which is not a threat...it's just information), but if they choose not to believe then that's they're choice.

5) I'm not uncomfortable around anyone.

6) One of the 10 Commandments states, "Thou shalt not lie." As a Christian who tries to live a life pleasing unto God, it's not necessary for me to lie on anyone.

7) I've only been "violent" on maybe 3 occasions in my entire life (and I'm 22 now) and those incidents had nothing to do with religion.

8) Yes, there are priests who commit crimes and they will suffer their punishment when it's time...but non-believers commit crimes too...does that make it any better? No one sin is greater than another (besides suicide because you cannot repent and ask for forgiveness on that one).

9) I don't look down on anyone because of what they believe. The Bible says that it not right for us to judge one another because none of us is without fault. God is the one true Judge, so I choose to leave that up to Him.

So, thank you for the many insults to my religious beliefs...but I certainly am none of the things you mentioned and I know quite a few Christians who are completely different as well. My advice to you is to refrain from making such blanket statements...one size does NOT fit all.

1) untrue,
go ahead and challenge, atheist are just angry because christians won't lie down and take it. You challenge my beliefs be prepared for me to defend them. For every action there is a re-action, and that is ours.

2)untrue
Some might, I don't,
You believe what you want to believe, but have the same respect and let me believe what I want to believe.

3)Untrue

In fact i LIKE science. It helps us advance. I just believe there is something more, again, that is my right as a human being.

4) I don't find hell a threat, I have a differant theory about it all, but it is contraversial to well everyone.

5)I have A LOT of atheist friends, huh, but they are respectfull.

6)I don't understand how I could Ly on an atheist? You lost me with that one.

7) I have never killed anyone,
yeah I'm violent but that's becasue of my lineage, culters and family background, not because of my faith, if anything my faih keeps me OUT of fights.

8)Who DOESN'T commit a crime. Looks to me like the athists hold priests highter than even christians. HE IS A MAN LIKE ANYOTHER MAN capable of commiting sins, murder, theft, adultery. Priests don't have some sorta immunity. Sorry YOU think they do, maybe you should become one.

9)I harvest many beliefs deived from an abundance of other religions. I think they all are headed in th same direction,
Heaven is where the heart is, not the church.

Hope I cleared up a few misconceptions for you.

Nothing wrong with 2 or 9 - that's the whole point.

You can challenge my belief all you want, you aren't going to change it.

I've never gone against any scientific discovery.

It's not the threat of Hell, but the very real promise of Heaven that is used to preach the Good News.

I'm uncomfortable around a lot of people - that's just the way I am.

I've never lain upon an athiest.

I'm not violent, and if you say I am I'll kick you square in the nuts.

People of all walks of life commit crimes daily.

The goverment doesn't permit us to really practice Christianity anymore. The atheists and liberals have taken away our Christian rights. As far as your list:

1. Christians still hate for people to challenge their beliefs
-- Of course Jesus tells us to slay non-believers.
2. Christians still try to convert the world to Christianity
-- That is what we are called to do
3. Christians still go against major scientific discoveries
-- Science is of Satan
4. Christians still try to use the threat of hell to convert people
-- The bible says Jesus will burn Non Christians in hell
5. Christians are still uncomfortable around Athiests
-- The bible tells us we are supposed to kill atheists but the goverment doesn't allow us.
6. Christians are still lying on Atheists
-- Only if they are cute.
7. Christians are still violent
-- The bible tells us to be violent
8. Christians priest are still committing crimes
-- Jesus forgives them
9. Christians still look down on other beliefs
-- We will look down on those who hold other beliefs in hell

Those people in my opinion are still people. Christains are to try to live the way Jesus live, with his help of course. All people, Christian or not do make mistakes. Just because your Christain doesn't mean you are perfect. that's a definate no no. However, it is neccesary that when we make mistakes we should ask for forgiveess and try not to do it again!
