Use the poem below -
OFT, in the stilly night,
Ere slumber's chain has bound me,
Fond Memory brings the light
Of other days around me:
The smiles, the tears
Of boyhood's years,
The words of love then spoken;
The eyes that shone,
Now dimm'd and gone,
The cheerful hearts now broken!
Thus, in the stilly night,
Ere slumber's chain has bound me,
Sad Memory brings the light
Of other days around me.
When I remember all
The friends, so link'd together,
I've seen around me fall
Like leaves in wintry weather,
I feel like one
Who treads alone
Some banquet-hall deserted,
Whose lights are fled,
Whose garlands dead,
And all but he departed!
Thus, in the stilly night,
Ere slumber's chain has bound me.
Sad Memory brings the light
Of other days around me.
Thomas Moore. 1779-1852
And build your speech.

First, try proper spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. It will help you immensely.
Second, you have to write it yourself. You'll feel like a real ignoramous if you start reading something written by an anonymous person on the internet, and you're approached later with a question about a statement or reference you made.
You have ten days, try to find some books on public speaking, maybe even check out the library and look for Dale Carnegie. That should be helpful. More helpful than spitting back something you read on the internet.

To laugh is to risk appearing a fool,
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental
To reach out to another is to risk involvement,
To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self
To place your ideas and dreams before a crowd is to risk their loss
To love is to risk not being loved in return,
To hope is to risk despair,
To try is to risk to failure.
But risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.
The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing is nothing.
He may avoid suffering and sorrow,
But he cannot learn, feel, change, grow or live.
Chained by his servitude he is a slave who has forfeited all freedom.
Only a person who risks is free.
The pessimist complains about the wind;
The optimist expects it to change;
And the realist adjusts the sails.
William Arthur Ward's poem "To Risk" is about not letting life slip by unnoticed, but letting it blossom into the most beautiful rose you could ever imagine. I have taken many risks here, but I knew it would be okay to take those risks- because my teachers were by my side all the way. My peers forced me to take risks- though on hindsight sometimes bad. You see, you learn and grow in school and it prepares you for what is to come. And hopefully you will stand tall and brave and hit head on your future and your planned destiny that is to come. Remember: take risks, don't be afraid to make mistakes, and most of all, you always don't need to take those risks alone. We grow and we change, but we never lose who we truly are on the inside. With that said, congratulations and farewell.
