What is the correct way to run/jog? Say I wanted to go for a 20 min. run, do I run the whole time, or should I walk at some intervals?
Also, I live in northern Ontario, and it's really cold lately. Is it ok to run in cold weather (like -10 Celsius)?
Any pointers would be appreciated, because I'm trying to lose weight (been 4 weeks now, I lost 5 pounds). I feel like I should be doing more.

your aim should be to run the whole time, if you cant try running at a slower pace, if you must walk, try walking at a pace where you can keep your heart rate going, I try not to run in very cold wether bc I cant breathe properly, you shoud switch out your running days, run outside twice per week when its nice and when its really cold try running treadmill...its a bore but to keep it interesting change up the pace and incline....have fun!!!! (dont forget to add strength training to your workouts)

if you can run the whole time then do it. what you are really aiming for is to get your heart rate up to a certain point and maintain it. that will force your body to use stored up fat cells. the rate really depends on your age.
