Awesome! get a box of Duncan Hines Triple Chocolate Decadence Brownie mix, mix as directed on the box. You might need to experiment with "fudgy or cakelike" to see which works best for your taste. Pour 1/2 batter into your pan, (prepared as directed), sprinkly gently onto it: 1 cup of Heath Toffee Bits (found next to the chocolate chips at the store), pour the remaining mix on top. Bake as directed on box - but when there are 5 minutes left to bake, slide out the oven shelf and sprinkle 1/2 cup of mini choc. chips (name brand) and 1/2 cup cut up caramels - cut into tiny pieces the size of the mini chips. Slide back into oven and finish baking. Serve with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, drizzle with warmed caramel sauce (Mrs Richardsons is best) or with Hot Fudge sauce, top with whipped cream and cherry! I would highly recommend practicing this recipe, or any other one, before you make the "special one". Good Luck!

You can actually use a packaged brownie mix for this and bake according to directions. About 5 minutes before they are done, sprinkle about 3/4 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips over the brownies along with about 3/4 cup of well chopped walnuts. Return the brownies to the oven for the last 5 minutes.
While the brownies are cooking, put about 20 carmels and about 1/4 cup milk into a bowl and microwave at 1 minute intervals, mixing until smooth and creamy.
When the brownies are done, pour the melted caramel mixture over the top of the brownies. Let cool completely and cut into squares. These are really great!

For a really gooey brownie recipe, get a box of double fudge brownie mix. Follow the instructions on the box, but add 1/4 cup Kahlua and a half package of chocolate chips. Bake as directed.
You'll have the richest brownies you've ever tasted.

Here's my FAVORITE chocolate lover's dessert. Mix up your brownie mix according to the box instructions (my favorite is Betty Crocker fudge brownies or Duncan Hines) Next add about 1/4 cup chocolate syrup (like hershey's) and 2/3 cup chocolate chips. Then I take deep dish pan (pie pan, 8" cake pan, Pampered Chef small oval baker) and pour in enough to fill it about 1/2 to 3/4 inch deep (you can save the rest for another time or bake it according to box directions). Then bake it for just 15-16 minutes in a preheated oven on 350 degrees. It shouldn't be quite baked through (so it's still soft). Take it out of the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then scoop 2 LARGE scoops of ice cream right on top and drizzle with either caramel sauce or chocolate sauce. Serve with two spoons while still hot and eat it together. I call this a brownie pazookie (brownie cookie/pizza). It's SO sinfully delicious! Best of luck to you!

Bake at 350 degrees F for 8-10 minutes or until set. Remove to wire racks. This should get you a more cookie-like consistency.

A few minutes before the brownies are to come out of the oven, lay some After Eight mints on top of them - they will melt into the brownies, and make the yummiest addition!

Nuts, Dried Cranberries, Butterscoth or White Chocolate Chips, Peanut butter swirls, Coconut. You could always make the brownies, mix in some white choc. chips and bake. When they come out put more white choc on top and let them melt and then sprinkle with coconut or nuts or cranberries. Or spread with PB istead.

You could add some chocolate chips to the batter before you bake them, and then frost them with a tub of Chocolate frosting.
Or, you could get some caramel squares, melt them in a pot with a little milk - just to thin it out slightly. Then after you pour the batter into the pan, gently place spoon fulls of the thinned out soft caramel on top. Swirl it around and bake. Be care full not to swirl too deep - you'll bury the caramel - just do it lightly on the surface.
If she likes mint chocolate, they sell mint chips in the baking section. I'm sure you can find mint frosting too.

I would do mint extract or LOTS of orange zest. If you include one of these two things in the brownies they will be rockin'. You could also just do the classic chocolate gnache icing with chopped nuts and even marshmallows on top. Yum!
