Wicca has a long tradition of not only accepting LGBT people and both recognizing and celebrating their commitment to each other as spouses, but also of containing several denominations that are dedicated to LGBT members. So far as we are concerned, all acts of love and pleasure, with harm to none, are sacred and deserving of respect.

"Let My worship be in the heart that rejoices, for behold, all acts of love and pleasure are My rituals." -- The Charge of the Goddess

Depends on how you define "tolerates" and "accepts". I think there are many religions who tolerate or would accept you for who you are, even if they don't agree with some of your activities. But then we all act in certain ways out of alignment with God (which most will believe homosexuality is). However, if you are talking about a religion that doesn't think it's a sin, then I'd say for sure the Unitarian Universalist and maybe Episcopal. The Unitarian Universalist church by my house flies a huge rainbow flad that says "hate free zone" outside. I think this is a little much, but it's pretty clear you'd be accepted there.

As a active member of a Roman Catholic Church I have never heard a single word uttered against gay people, let alone known any to be "bashed".
O.K. the official line is that the practise of homosexuality is considered wrong but lgbt people need to be respected and protected from discrimination and attack. It is perfectly possible to be a celibate gay and a member of the Church
- I am. Other Christian denominations have a much more relaxed attitude..

Christians......there is christian LGBT groups. Don't know about any other religions. I agree with Marx who said that religion is 'opium for the masses.' Religion has been the cause of more wars than anything else. The bible is a history book which is open to much mis-interpretation. I am not an atheist, probably would be classed as agnostic.

I am not sure what LGBT means, but you are going to have bigots in ANY religion. I am a born-again evangelical Christian. I have attended church my entire life. I am 45. Still, I have been to many churches where people are NOT accepted if they don't act or dress or believe a certain way. That is NOT how God wants Christians to behave. He gives us guidelines as to how to live our lives, and He calls certain things sin. We ALL sin in God's eyes - Christians sin - daily. Nobody is perfect. I may not sin with regard to homosexuality or other such things, but my sin can be one of pride, anger, being judgmental, lying, or whatever. They are all the same in God's eyes.

A good church will speak the Bible and will not feel they have to sugar-coat the Bible in order to not offend those who want to live with their sin as if it wasn't sin. Still, a good church will NOT judge anyone, whether it deems that person to be sinning or not. A good church will make ALL feel welcome, loved and safe within its doors and out. If you find a church that does not do these things, then look some more. A church that is not loving and accepting of everyone, while preaching the truth of the Bible, is not a church that is living according to the principles laid out in the Bible by our Lord Jesus Christ. There ARE churches out there where true Christian love exists.

My answer to your question was based on my Christian experience. I can't speak for other religions since I am not acquainted with how other religions view LGBT people (still don't know what that means). Best wishes to you.

P.S. - I just viewed other answers and I now know what LGBT stands for. Thanks to those who explained. I stick with my answer. Speaking for Christian churches, I still say no church should make anyone, LGBT or otherwise, feel unaccepted, unworthy, or unloved. If it does, then find another church.

Try non-monotheistic ones, like Paganism, Buddhism, etc..

I know from personal experience that various Pagan religions are very accepting.
