I've been thinking of telling my boyfriend of 5 months that I love him but I'm not quite familiar with relationship etiquette. If there is any. I'm 20, he's 22 and it's my first relationship. Am I rushing it?

It's all about your feelings. You'll know when the time is right. Trust your gut. YOu don't want to say it and have him say.. Thank-you or something like that. :)

We worked together and for almost a year we hated each other. Not sure why nothing was ever said to each other or anything like that just a vibe I guess we both gave off. We ended up working a project together and actually talked. We ended up having a lot in common and with in a month we started dating. We werent really serious but had so much fun. Well, he ended up dating someone else and we broke off the dating part. I thought to myself I was feeling a loss. Well, he felt weird dating this other girl and ended up calling me up and coming over and we talked for hours. I told him with in I would say 3 months that I was falling in love with him and he said he felt the same way. We have now been together for 15 yrs. Married almost 11.

I don't think you're rushing anything. Only you know how you feel and I'm sure that you have a pretty good idea of how your boyfriend feels about you. If you feel like you just have to tell him, then tell him! However, Valentine's Day is coming up soon and that could be a perfect opportunity! Who knows, maybe he'll even beat you to it... :)

No, you're not rushing it. If you feel it, then say it. There is no time limit. My boyfriend and I exchanged the "I love you" only three weeks into our relationship because we both really felt it and it was the right time for us.

Though it has been a short time, Thats a feeling. you havent gone through the bad times yet. you can tell if you actually love him after some hard times and what become's of it. once after the bad times he sticks around and shows a ginuine conceern then you know that sayin you love him wont scare him off. i have been dating my girlfriend for 5 months too and she told a friend that she thinks she loves me and it got back around to me. we have gone through hardships and always work them out and never bring them back up. i guess what i am tryin to say is you can only tell him that if he shows concern for you and your well being or else you will scare him.
