You will find VERY few people that speak english. Probably the most you will find are at your hotel, and possibly other tourists. Don't worry at ALL about your figure. Just go to the beach and have fun. The acceptance of all body shapes is much, much greater in rio than here in the states. Have fun! Rio is great. :)
