I just got a trial pair of contact lenses. Last night it took me 30 minutes to get them out. I was getting so frustrated.

Can anybody tell me any tricks they use to get their contacts out?

And one more thing - how long does it take to get used to them

They are 30 day disposable contacts

You suppose to drag them to the corner of your eye and it's suppose to make a ripple in the contact so you can get it, but this theory has never worked for me.

I pinch my contact at the bottom of my eye and get them out that way. The other way is to pick up your upper lid and then squeeze your eyes shut this will make the contact come out too.

It takes a little practice, but you will get the hang of it. As far as getting used to them, they gave the daily wear contacts at first and they dried out to much so I switch to the extended wear contacts and I love them. I didn't have any problems with adjusting to the contacts, just getting them in and out was a bit of a task at first.

I just got mine a several weeks ago. Wash your hands well with soap & water, pat them dry with a lint-free towel, slide the contact down towards your eye, and gently *pluck* it off (i can't think of a better word haha). I got used to mine after about 2 weeks of wear. Then it'll only take less than minute for each eye! :) Good luck!

Pull your eyelids gently apart. Touch the contact lightly with your finger (make sure your hands are very clean) and pull it down off of the center of your eye (down onto the white part). Gently pinch the contact off your eye. You can always ask for them to show you how to do it again.

just like take your index finger and thumb and hold them kind of vertical to your face so you dont stab your eye with your nails and grab the left and right side of the contact and kind of bring your fingers together and pull it out so that it looks like a taco when you take it out. That's how they first told me to do it.

use your index finger to lift your top eyelid as much as possible, then take you thumb and middle finger to grab the lense and pull it out. dont grab hard or you will pinch your eye [yes its possible].
