Yes and no.

If the piercing is pulled out or rejects from the body then yes, there is a chance that the follicle can be damaged and hair growth is questionable.

Under most usual circumstances, hair will grow back just fine and there should be no visible damage other than two small white dots where the piercing was.

Yes, but only where the needle pierced. It's not like the spot all between the balls stops growing. For girls it isn't as much of a problem because we pluck anyway and you can usually pluck around that. Guys have more of a problem, my guy friends that have taken them out have a small spot that just doesn't grow. Not a problem to them really.

Well, yes and no really. The yes it can if it gets ripped out or infected or anything goes wrong. But most of the time if you just take it out the pores are fine. And it's not a myth that pores can be effected by piercings, any time you put something through your skin it can in turn change the habits of your skin at times. And the scarring isn't bad, can't tell normally.

No the hair still grows.. I have my eyebrow pierced, and still go in to have my eyebrows waxed every two weeks.. I do however have two small holes or that will not close up...It kinda looks like a snake bite, so I just leave the hoop in, only remove it to change to another one...I never thought about the eventual scars.. only about how "cool" it would be to have my eyebrow pierced... it's been 10 years, and now I just might think about the scarring before I get pierced.

Not true. I got my eyebrow pierced and still had hairs growing around it. I had to either pluck or shave them around the ring to make it look nice.

No that's not true, but if you take your piercing out and let it heal, there will be a scar there and then hair wont grow back, because hair cant grow on scars.

For me, the hair never came back, but the hair in front lays down over it and covers the scar pretty well. But that's just me. Sounds like for everyone else here it comes back just fine.

it depends on where on your eyebrow you get pierced. i used to have mine pierced and i still have hair that grows on top of the scar. it may depend on tissue damage or scar tissue. not sure.
