Is vomiting a symptom of IBS? I haven't been diagnosed with IBS, but I suspect I have it. Within the last month and a half, I've vomited due to bloating/constipation and then felt better. Any thoughts?

I have suffered with IBS for years and have never heard of vomitting associated with it. But I'd go see the dr. if I were you, you never know it just may be IBS after all. Symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome:-
* Chronic and frequent diarrhea, usually accompanied by pain
* Chronic and frequent constipation, usually accompanied by pain
* Abdominal pain or tenderness
(1) Following meals
(2) Relieved by bowel movement
(3) Intermittent
* Abdominal fullness, gas, bloating
* Abdominal distention
* Nausea and vomiting
* Loss of appetite
* Emotional distress
* Depression

You may vomit due to the pain but with bloating/gas I'm not sure. Generally you have severe cramping, either diarrhea or constipation,sometimes both. And yes there can be some bloating due to gas.
Suggest you talk to your family physician, could be brought on by stress or food allergies.

Are you under a lot of stress? If so, both ends can be affected adversely. I agree with those that advise you to go see a doctor.

something that helped me with my ibs was taking colon cleansing vitamins...
i felt better soon, and no more issues ever after taking it.
i use the vitamins once a year, and i am good to go
