Use a good clarifying shampoo like Neutrogena Anti-Residue once a week to remove product build-up.

Flip your head downwards and blow dry. When almost dry, stand up straight and finish your style.

If you have long hair, pull it into a very loose ponytail at the top of your head when you sleep. Use a scrunchy or smooth elastic to prevent snags.

Pantene Extra Body Conditioner (purple band) is the best one I've used. It makes my hair sleek and adds some body.

Strategically placed highlights or lowlights can add dimension to your hair. First of all, the contrast will give the impression of fullness and then the color process will make the colored hair shafts swell a bit.

Find a hair style that suits your hair texture. www.matrix.com has a section with detailed photos and styling tips.

First check out your shampoo and conditioner, use a volumizing formula. These generaly are light weight formulas that will not leave a residue. If your hair is thin, shampoo residue and too much conditioner will weight your hair down.

Also about once a week, be sure to use a clarifying shampoo to remove all residue in your hair.

After you wash your hair, blow dry with a large round brush piece by piece. When the piece is about 80% dry, put a small amount of hair spray on the underneath side, at the root then continue to dry with the round brush.

This is what my best friend does, her hair is very thin and fine and it always looks full and bouncy! Goodluck!

Use thickening/volumizing products...Some good ones are
Bumble and Bumble Thickening Shampoo, Conditioner, and Thickening Spray
Redken Body Full Line
Big Sexy Hair (they have a product called "backcomb in a bottle" that you spray for volume)

When blowdrying your hair, use a product you spray on your roots for volume. Using a round brush, blowdry your hair directing the brush upward.
You can also tease/backcomb your hair for volume. Hold a small amount of hair in your hand, and spray the roots with hairspray. Then use a comb or brush to tease it. And there you go.

i have semi thin hair.. but im sure this would work for you... right after i get out of the shower i put some volume mousse in my hair and i flip my head over and blow dry with cold air... then i spray my hair with volume hair spray it works every time = ).... another thing i do is right by the part of my hair i pick up a piece and comb my hair towards my head and spray it with hair spray and cover that lil piece with another piece of hair..... it adds loads of volume....... theres a million and one ways to do it you just have to play with your hair and see what works for you and what looks best on you.. you can always ask your cousins or sisters to play with your hair and see what they do for volume and make it your own.. also you can to a hair stylist and see if they can give you a product to give volume.... and you can always go to a salon store and ask for volume shampoos....... so ya i hope that made sence and helped you = )

if you have a fringe or like bits round your face, dry them into place firts, then all i do is brush all the rest of the hair backwards and blow it from front to back. think beehive without the backcombing, and a lot less height. it just gives a bit of volume at the crown. then stick some hairspray on and ur off!

the best way is by teasing your hair and then just lightly brushing the top over again. It will look voluminous and pretty.
You can also try volumizing shampoos. Nut, they don't work as good as teasing.

Hope that helps.
