hey im homeschooled and have soo much fun
i get to do it on my own time. however, you have
to have self-discipline. you still have to do your
work.
i get alot more free time to myself. also, if you
go on vacation you get points for school. for instance
i went to the rock n` roll hall of fame in cleveland
and got points for school, since i dont have class trips
hope this helped =]

I love homechooling and so does my best friend (who went to public school until 7th grade).
I went to a public high school this year and I liked it alot but in the end I like homeschooling a lot more so I dropped out.
Homeschooling is great because there is so much freedom. I think that I learn more when I am home and working on my own schedule than when I am at school and have distractions, people passing notes and a teacher's schedule for 30 kids who may be ahead of or behind you.
As for the social aspect I have lots of friends, some are homeschooled, some aren't. We all get along fine. People expect me to be socially retarted or have over-protective parents becuase I am homeschooled and then are surprised to find out that I am allowed to stay out late with my friends and *gasp* no adults(!) or that I actually have friends.
There are plenty of activities for homeschoolers like organized sports, classes away from home (science, art, drama, etc) and many areas even have dances (and PROM!) for homeschoolers.
Homescooling is great so good luck (and have fun!)

Homeschool is tons of fun, but make sure that you have a couple of classes away from home during the week or you'll go crazy. I miss being able to finish all my work early and have the rest of the day to do other things. The nice thing about homeschooling is that you lose your addiction to tv and internet. Whereas if you go to regular school you almost need mindless media to decompress after a long stressful day.

Homeschooling is different from public school. Like anything else it has its ups and downs. One of the good things is that you can do things on your own schedule. This doesn't mean that you can slack but if you want to take a day off for something you can reset your schedule so that you can take that day off but don't fall behind. A downer is that you don't get to see people your own age on a daily basis. But you can join homeschooling groups for more social interaction. Overall homeschooling is very effective.

Homeschooling can be very fun. You tend to be done faster, you can do it in your PJs, you get to go on field trips as part of learning, no more cafeteria food... lots of perks. But just like anything else, it is what you make it.

It is as fun or as boring as the parents and children make it.
