I think you will have something to regret later in life. Try explaining your "tramp stamp" to your children. (Funny aside, I read that in 2050, they will be calling these "gramp stamps"...lol)

Try watching something like Miami/LA/London Ink, although you may not see exactly what you want, it will give you some ideas. You will be able to see how tattoo's look on different parts of the body and you will be able to see what areas you like tattooed. It will also give you ideas on how to research tattoo ideas, and approach an artist to make sure you get what you really want.

if you dont know what you want, then ur not ready to get it. Tattoos are a very meaningful, personal and powerful form of self-expression. tattoos are on your body for life. I have 4 tattoos and each tattoo has a meaning behind it, whether it be of a good/bad time in my life or a memorial for someone I lost. You shouldn't have to think of what your going to get, it should come naturally. Believe me, you'll know when the right "tattoo" time is.

If you want a tattoo it should be up to you, i have one but i thought long and hard about mine, i didn't want it to be something that went out of fashion in 15 minutes and something tastefull so that when I'm 80 years old in a nursing home it doesn't look to bad with all my sagging skin.
The rose is a nice idea but the skull they don't mix that well!

Go to google images type in rose tattoo. That will give you some ideas.Usally when getting a tattoo people will put alot of thought into it because we all know it there for life.Questions you need to ask your self .Why a rose? Why a skull? Alot of people get it for those that have past on in there life or someone that as left rememberance on them. There's always meaning in them.Like my mom past and she loved Tiger lillys (a flower) so if I ever get one that would be in my thoughts for the design.Good luck.

don't get a rose... and don't listen to people saying that a tattoo has to be meaningful and personal...some tattoos can just be done, because you felt like getting it done. If you're only planning on getting one, make sure it's a good one. Because one is too many and two is not enough.
Who cares what it looks like when you get older...it's your own body, you don't have to please others. Hell, I have brass knuckles tattooed on my rib cage, and it's not at all meaningful or sentimental...haha i did bc I felt like it...and who cares what it looks likes whwen I get older, I'm with the man I'm spending the rest of my life with..and by the time my tattoos get old and ugly, we'll both be old and ugly.
Anyway, best way..go to the tattoo artist, and talk to them, they're the best help of all... good luck

you are going to permanently disfigure your body but you don't know what tattoo to get.

So then you ask THIS bunch.

A Rose with a Skull is a Grateful Dead "motif" incidentally.

Why not just get a nice, ladylike rose.

I have a cross with a rose in the middle. it is very intricate and has a lot of vines. The skull thing sounds cool. Just make sure you get yellow added in your tattoo. It looks hellagood!

Good afternoon, I would like to suggest that it's not right to pierce or harm the body intentionally. I'm referring to the Bible and the only mistake in harming my body is that I have pierced ears. I regret that I found out recently that we should protect and nurture our bodies (temples) with the utmost respect. You will experience some pain, mild-serious ink poisoning, and puncturing that isn't worth it. Only my opinion, but I strongly suggest that you only get the tatoos that can be applied with water and pressing down on them...which also can be washed off when needed. have a great day.
