Oh my God. Welcome to my life. I am going through the EXACT thing you are. I recently talked to my college counselor for help and here are some natural things she recommended.
She told me to try to fit in around 2-3 tbls of flax seed a day. This will increase you body's production of happy hormones basically (and it is really good for your health).
She told me that the college students should get about 8 to 10 hours of sleep a night. I don't know about you, I haven't done that for the past 4 years. So, just try to sleep more if you can.
Now the kicker, I am doing this thing called Heart Math. I know this sounds weird, but it works. What you do is you start taking deep breaths and imagine the air going through your heart and out your belly button (WEIRD, I KNOW. JUST BARE WITH ME). Next you think about positive things and your life. Anything that promotes feelings of love, gratitude, and so on. Just do this for a few minutes and you really feel better if you actually give it a chance. I had a really bad migraine the other day and I did this thing and it totally went away and made me feel so much happier.
I hope this helps you out. Hang in there!

If your work load at school will permit, you might try joining one or two activity clubs or service clubs. The Jaycees admit both sexes and work on projects to improve their communities so you would meet people who care about what is happening around them. Whether or not you make any strong friends from the people you meet in these groups, you will keep busier and with the service groups, you will have the satisfaction that can only be obtained by helping others.
Meanwhile, take some B50 vitamins and look into other supplements as well and keep up with your studies.

First you may get some acquaintances that are single too, and have faith me there is lots available. Then, you may stay existence to the fullest and do what you elect to do. through fact, have faith me, not at each and all of the time is the "grass greener on the different ingredient." whenever you have a girl pal, now and back all some time is spent on her and in basic terms her. So, think of roughly that and ponder whether having a girl pal is incredibly what you prefer. by the way, i don't think of that travelling will strengthen your opportunities of having a girl pal. not except you're a looser on your city and everybody is conscious it. So i'm guessing you at the instant are not so wait a whilst. you're merely 19 so which you have not something to rigidity approximately. The time will come and the main appropriate guy or woman will locate you. to boot, despite you're next step is, you're absolute to locate somebody, no count if it incredibly is in college or at artwork. sturdy success.

Be sure to eat right and get exercise as that should improve your moods. If you feel as though your depression is severe, then please seek medical attention as it may be a physical issue. Beyond that, just try to keep a positive outlook on life. Be optimistic. Get out there and meet people. College should be one of the most fun times of your life. Also, always remember that no mateer how bad things are, there's people out there who are going through the same things as you. Maybe worse.
Take Care! : )

Well you might wanna start by telling someone you trust so they can help you, and offer emotional support. But I would suggest getting involved ins omething you enjoy (sports, arts, whatever..) and try and keep yourself busy so you don't have time to think too much. Maybe go back to school, or make sure you're working full-time (doing something you like). But definitely get involved in something enjoyable. SOmething physical is best, because physical activity reduces depression and anxiety.

STOP - When my mind starts getting away with me(I start thinking about really negative things) I immediately picture a STOP sign. Then I intentionally tell myself to think about something else. Something pleasant.

Sometimes it takes a doctor to help you through this. Don't be afraid to ask for help.

Get involved in church activities. That is why God created the church. So no one has to be lonely. He loves you.
