One of my bridemaids already been through this check my registery and told me I didn't have enough stuff on it. So I am going through it now..... she suggested getting more towels and sheets because she wished she had ask for more... being you use them everyday. What would you suggested you "should" have on your registery or wish you had ask for??

Towels and sheets were a BIG part of our registry because - she's right. You use them every single day. Those are great to have on there.

Also, register for what YOU want. Don't rely on what other people tell you you need. ;) You may have more than enough stuff - but might want something fun.

We also registered for Trivial Pursuit and Yahtzee - and we got them! Sometimes people see those things and will buy them.

Good luck!

When you register someplace you usually get the little packet of papers, in there is a big long checklist of stuff. Usually if you sit down for a couple of hours on the net you can get all of your stuff done.

--The best tip i was givin was to regester for 3 sets of bed sheets or bed sets. One for on the bed, one for the wash and one to be put on while they are being washed.

--Remember to put all of your kitchen tools on there (Blender, mixers,Block on knives, and sharpener,Silverware,Good china, and everyday china with glasses.. ECT..)

The best stuff if the silicone bake ware.. It's flexible, and the best!!

Towels are always a hassle.. You don't know how many you will need until you actually use them. I registered for 4 sets for guests and then two or three fun towels for us..

Also, don't forget your laundry stuff.. like a Iron and Ironing board and covers for it.. Also, the vacuum, and maybe a hand held one or a mini one for little messes. Also, the Swiffer for the floors are the best as well!!

Don't forget cute frames for your beautiful wedding pictures!!
Hope this Helpes!! Good luck!

LOL, I love questions like this because our registry was very "different"

My husband was complaining as we walked through the local Bed, Bath and Beyond store registering for towels, sheets and other stuff that none of it was for him, it was all girly stuff, so I did some research and many hardware stores have registries as well. I had inherited a beautiful set of china so we did not register for china.

We ended up registering not only at the traditional store but at a local hardware store and Toy's R Us as well.

We were young and it was fun to register for some ninetendo games for my husband, and board games for us both, not to mention a few tools and other practicalities that we needed setting up house together, such as paint and yes we even registerd for furnace filters.

We actually got quite a few things from the hardware store and some of my family bought a few of the games. We've hosted several parties over the years and played the Clue, Monopoly and other games that were so nicely wrapped up in wedding paper, with someone always bringing up that these were wedding gifts. It's a good chuckle for us all and we've gotten surprisingly good use of our non traditional gifts.

Have fun and congratulations on your wedding.

I secodn the person who said the knife said was forgotten on her list. I also forgot to register for one of those, and a toaster! Think practically, back in the day, EVERYONE registered for fine china and fancy silverware and all of the crystal stemware. But honestly, think about your lifestyel and whether you really want these items. I inherited my great grandmotehrs and didn't choose to register for my own. I feel that if I havea n occasion to pull out the china, then it will mean more to me if I use hers! Therefore, when it cam to the dishes and serving ware, I registered for Wilton Armatale Pewter servers. And I recieved all of my serving pieces, plus some! Tons of people made comments that they were glad to see me register for htings I will use more often than crystal. My pewter servers are used at least once a week, not all but at least one or two pieces. We use it on weekends for football games or barbques, had I gotten the china and cyrstal, I couldn't use it as much! For my daily dishes I got the fiestaware and I can dress that up or down and my silverware is a silver fleur de lis set that works for formal or nonformal. I registered for enough for 25 people, we are part of a large family and I knew that when we had Thanksgiving or Christmas or Christening Dinners that we would need them. And why 25, its a good idea to have a spare set in case something happens to a piece of another set! You never know when that line will become unavailable!
And as for the towels and sheets, always register for more than you need in the room at the time. Over time they will wear out, and it's nice to have some in the spare closet that you can pull out and know they will match what you have already! I registered for 3 sets of sheets per bed, and I got them.

And as a rule of thumb, your registry should have enough items for your guests to have a wide variety of price ranges. I was actually told to take the number of invitations sending out and double it. Say if you are inviting 200 people, register for 400 things that are of ALL price ranges and have plenty of choices in each range, At the very least if you are inviting 200 people you should have at least 300 items registered! This is so that everyone has plenty of items to choose from. And check your registry peridically, and if you are getting low on items in a certain price range, add some more. You can always return small items for a bigger item!

well what do you need? yes towels and sheets are great. is there any little kitchen tools you like - measuring cups, garlic press, ice cream scoop, potato masher, etc...

kitchen stuff is good - set of knives, corn on the cob holders, trivets, cutting boards.

do you have a good set of dishes? how about silverware?

sometimes it is better to go in the store and go around looking at stuff.

you could desire to ask her and locate out the place she registered. she will't heavily assume you or any of the bathe travelers to be mindreaders. you could sign in everywhere. mattress tub and previous is popular. Even then, if she is the bride, she isn't the single which themes the invites to the bridal bathe. it somewhat is the MOH's accountability and the registry assistance might desire to have been blanketed in that.

I wish I had registered for more practical stuff like a hamper, a mop, racks for drying clothes, etc. It's the stuff that isn't glamourous and fun that is easily forgotten. I think they have sample registry lists on www.theknot.com.

I recommend putting anything and everything on there! We looked at it as all the stuff we needed, but didn't want to spend our money on. Like a measuring spoon or cookie sheets...stuff like that. Also home decor stuff. Candles, artwork, placemats and napkins, mirror, card table and chairs...things like that.

Outdoor stuff like at REI. You should have some fun things that your fiance would like to receive too...electronics, games, whatever your hobbies are. OH! And don't forget to give to charity! You can ask for donations to a charity that the two of you like. Or you can do it yourself instead of favors (we did this and everyone loved it!). No one really wants another chotsky wedding favor anyway.
