In addition to the above info, routine x-rays can actually cause cancer- so the medical profession has to be very careful with their recommendations.

Annual tests can be given. It is the choice of the individual on whether or not to have the tests.
If Prostate Cancer is so prevalent, why aren't men given annual tests?

It's because lung cancer occurs rarely in females.... This is due to the fact that statistically, less women smoke and smoking is the main risk factor in lung cancer...

Chest x-rays are not done routinely on anyone man or woman unless there is a reason to do one. If you are worried about lung cancer and want a routine chest x-ray then ask your doc to run one at your yearly physicals.

XRays are not that sensitive.

CT scans/MRIs are too expensive.
