I have travelled on
1. Indian Airlines
2. Jet Airways
3. King fisher
4. Air Deccan
5. Alliance Air
Of all the flyers "Jet" is the best. It is not their service or the fares or their punctuality that I consider most. It is the sweet attitude and understanding displayed by all the crew male/female staff that I find the most touching.
I find Kingfisher airhostess rather too snooty! Even Alliance Air is good in comparision!

In my opinion Indian Airlines is the best domestic Indian Airline.

indian air lines is the best,operating to every nuke and corner of india and some stations aborad,service is good and fares are economical.there are other private carries also but indian airlines still is the best.

Kingfisher - though its a bit expensive
Jet Airways - it simply rocks... its prolly the most popular airlines in india... that too for a reason.
if i were u, i'd choose jet.

jet airways is good......good hospitality and frequent flights .... I have not traveled in other airlines ...... so I can not say about others .
