I have infected bladder every two months or so for about two years now. I can't live with this anymore. I am taking antibiotics when i have an infection. My urine tests are ok after taking the pils. I was at urologist and he prescribed the same antibiotics. Last time I had infection, I had blood in my urine and high temperature.

This infections aren't connected with cold, or cold feet. I also don't sit a lot, I don't drink coffee or alcohol. I tried everything.

Why I have bacterias in my bladder, how they get there every two months? Does anyone have the same problems? I can't take antibiotics whole my life. This thing is making me mad. Please , if anyone have an experiences answer me.

thank you

I used to get bladder infections every month for about two years too, and it's a dreadful infection, makes you feel horrible. I'm sorry to hear you're going through this.

In my case, wearing skirts or sweats helped so it didn't squeeze me down there. Cranberry (you can find it in pills also) helps.

Washing yourself with cool water and warm water for five minutes around the area can help a little. Products like vagisil feminine wash can keep the area clean so it helps keep bacteria from getting into the bladder area.

In my case my bladder became infected from having irritable bowel problems, and my intestine irritated the entire regioin, including my bladder. So, in case you have tummy pains too, you might want to get that checked out.

Good luck.

You need to drink plenty of cranberry juice or take cranberry capsules daily to help prevent UTI's. Also be sure to drink plenty of water to help flush out any bacteria that might be in your bladder. Wipe front to back after using the toilet. If you are sexually active be sure to urinate before and immediately after sex. Some women need to be on antibiotics routinely for the rest of their life for UTI prevention so this is a slim possibility for you. Try the cranberry capsules though and also avoid tub baths.

Bladder infections can be prevented in several easy ways. When you use toilet paper, wipe once from FRONT to back. (You don't want to bring bacteria from your poop to your girl parts/bladder opening) If you take tub baths, stop. Only take a shower. (The same reason) If you are sexually active, he must be clean too. If you have anal (back-side) intercourse, he must wash himself before having vaginal intercourse. A healthy diet with lots of fruit and vegetable choices, and cranberry juice (only thing that will acidify the urine) will help lots too. I hope this helps,,be well.

You need to see a different doctor, one who specializes in this type of disorder. Call your local hospital and ask them where the nearest doctor is who specializes in the field you need.
