I have been doing a worksheet for school and I think I must've spelt one of the words wrong so I'm not sure how to translate the sentence back to english as it's not in any dictionary - oops!
Can anybody tell me what this sentence is most likely to be in english (using the future tense):
Die kranke Katze wird sicher diesen Käse frißen.

It's obviously the frißen that's spelt wrong, I know there's a word freißen which means to break or something.

Help!
Lorna

I think fressen. (with the weird B thing)

Does that help or do you want the translation?

It is correct since reform of orthography: Die kranke Katze wird sicher diesen Käse fressen.

In English: The ill cat will eat this cheese for sure.

Annel is right; you appear to have mixed up the infinitive "fressen" with the three finite forms that change the vowel to "i" (du frisst; er/sie/es frisst, (imperative) friss!).

So the English translation would be:
"The sick cat will certainly eat this cheese." (whatever that might mean in any language)

There's no such word as "freißen" in German, I think you refer to "reißen", meaning "to rip".

directly translated: In meinen Augen bist Du das schönste Mädchen der Welt. "In my eyes" is not what a German would say. but instead, Für mich bist Du das schönste Mädchen der Welt. (For me you are the most beautiful girl in the world)
