i downloade limewire and used it, but when i try to close it down it trys to run itself again. i deleted it from my programs, and searched it in my comp. and tried to delete it from there and it didnt work.

do you want to completely remove limewire and all of its other components from your computer, then follow this simple procedure :
go to start => my computers =>control panel =>add/remove programs=> select limewire and click on remove.
your problem will be solved for ever.
but if you just want to remove it from starting up automatically on your computer go to Start=> Run=> type msconfig and go to startup and remove tick from Limewire in the options.

Use genuin Anti-Spyware and Clean-up your entire system. If U want to get help get professional help. But Cleaning is imp.

Limewire is Hard Spyware. It will demolish your entire computer system and throw all your personal information on share...I request you NOT TO USE LIMEWIRE AT ALL.
Better to use Bit-torrent software or more better buy a affordable CD/DVD.

hmmm. i use limewire all the time and never had this problem. if u just exit the program it won't shut totally down. you must go to your toolbar(where the time is) on ur computer and left click on the limewire icon and click exit. that will shut it down totally. if this isn't the deal then i am not to sure what to tell ya:( sorry

I'm going to guess you didn't exit it from your system tray down by the clock in the bottom right hand corner. You probably just either hit the X or closed it. That doesn't exit it.

If you want to delete it completly, you need to go into your control panel, and go to add/remove programs. Find it on that list and remove it. It will ask you if you want to un-install it, and obviously the answer is yes.
