Everytime I download a "wmv" file from the internet (that some sent to me) my computer opens Real Player.
I'm using "Verizon Yahoo" email to receive and download the wmv files.
Can I set my computer to use Windows Media Player (version 10) instead of Real Player?

Save one file to your pc. Right click on the file and select Open With...>Choose Program. Select the program you want to use for this file type. BE SURE you check off the box labeled Always use the selected program to open this kind of file. Click OK.

Yes you can. Right click on the wmv file aand click on "open with"... choose program. Select media player and check that box where it says use the selected program to open this kind of file.

Yes go to WMP, tools,file types, and check the ones you want to play in WMP.
