who do not believe or love God. There are those times I have found nonbelievers to be wiser and gentle in their approach. So a good heart and a good person is not dependent on loving God. Would believers agree?
(I still love God and believe) I just think we sometimes forget we are not so special.

I'm a believer and I believe you. God can work through anyone He chooses. Sometimes that is the gentle kind unbeliever in our path. Only once have I taken a ride from a stranger, God gave me peace about it and he wasn't a christian but I'd had someone following me that really made me feel creepy. I was praying for a way to get away from the creepy guy as I was walking and the creepy guy was driving up and down the road. I was 16 at the time.

You are a voice of sanity on here. I find that Christians, atheists and people of every persuasion are quite capable of offering words of wisdom and comfort. Nobody has a monopoly on anything in this world. And everyday of my life, I can look in the mirror and readily admit that I might be wrong. I also realize that I have very few answers and frequently I don't even know the question. I am an atheist by the way. Have a great day!

That is correct. God made humans in his image and there are many nonbelievers who have great behavior. Some carnal Christians or those who only say they are christians can really give a wrong picture of Christianity. We must focus on God's word and ask him to help us.

perhaps. Or, the love and gentleness they display, being of God, they give to others, not even being aware of the godliness inside of them. Just because someone says they don't believe in God, does not mean that God is not working through them.

Whenever I enter into a discussion with a 'non-believer', I respect their view. As I hope they will respect mine - that there is a God. As long as your beliefs move you to live a good life for yourself and those around you, I am not offended by those who do not believe. And hey, if they are right, and there is no God...I will have lived a happier existence while I was here, thinking that I am never alone.

genuinely!!! You sited James financial ruin 3. confident, that does talk of earthly information verses heavenly information. we are able to easily understand God's information as quickly as all of us understand Christ as our Savior. After that, we are able to try to on a daily basis stay greater in accordance with God's will, in spite of the undeniable fact that we are able to nonetheless sin. a million Corinthians 13 supplies some thought of what genuine love is. Absolutely not!!!!! The bible clear indicates that it is unwise to seek counsel from the ungodly or in today's terms those who are not founded and rooted in the things of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That is not to say that people who do not believe are bad or do not have wisdom, I that to say that it is not the wisdom that should be followed by a follower of Jesus. Now if their wisdom agrees with the Word of God than follow it, but that should go for anyone who wants to impart wisdom upon you. But seek first the Lord, and then the counsel of those whom love the Lord and His ways.

Sure. Christianity is about our relationship with Christ. We are to love one another. Some of the most loving things in my life were delivered by harsh and abrasive people. For example I was once asked if everything in my life was exactly like it was supposed to be. I said "no way" They said *(&*!!#@ You have done everything it takes to be right where you are. This was the beginning of my eyes opening. If I see this person again here or in Heaven I will hug them until their wings pop off. That's love.

An atheist once took care of me during a very, very difficult time in my life. I don't know where I would be without her.
