I am a Cosmetologist & I would say UNLESS your Hair is 100% Bleached/ Decolored (i.e. Blonde) and not "Colored" I would wait one to two weeks.

Most Treatments are Protein based and what happens is the Protein from the treatment will sit on your hair strand and PUSH the Color out! Your Hair Strand is like a Sponge... It can only hold so much water- so in order to add something... something else will be pushed out.

In all my years... I've found that a At home Treatment called Redkin Extreme CAT protein reconstructing treatment is the BEST! You can do it at home (up to 3 times in a row- NO MORE or your hair will break off from too much protein) and its around $12.00. You can find it at ANY beauty supply store

** Don't forget to Condition Afterwards...

Depends on what kind of treatment you're wanting - if you screwed up the dye job chances are a good salon can correct it, but it'll be hard on your hair.
