thank u for choosing to read this question. well okay on feb. 28,2007 i will be 17 and im am very unhappy where i am staying. i am staying with my dad and my stepmomi dont have a real mom. but my aunte has always been their for me like a mom is suppose to be. she said i can live with her and after my dad kicked my out last saturday. all we need is my dad to sign the pappers like he said he would. my dad is in the military and is always gon. me and my step mom dont talk i just dont like her i knew her since i was 7 she's just really fake. talks fake, acts fake. i hate her. im tired of my dads temper alyways breaking my stuff yelling and wrost of all buting his hands on me. he dont love my step mom he saaid he will divorce her when we all get out cuz if he divorce her right now she will have alot of his money and all. im just tired of living like this UNHAPPY !!! when my dad kicked me out i stayed with friends and my step-mom called the police on me. said i was a runaway no he kicked m

he kicked my out. i am 27 days away from being 17. if my dad dont sign the pappers what can i do so that i can live with my aunte ?
my dad is a liar when he didnt know where i was he told all my friends tyhat if i come home he would give me a plane ticket to wherever the haee i wanna go.
ive been here since monday night he has'nt said anything. he acts like everything is back to normal. which it is not.
today i will remind him of what he was telling everybody. i want to live with my aunte sorry that this is long

Whatever happens, happens. Either way its only 1 year, if you stay in school and graduate then get a job you can move out at 18.
But dont drop out so you can handle a full time job, that will screw you big time.

If you live in an abusive home Child custody can take you away and place you with aunt is she can show she can take care of you. You are under your fathers control until your 18 so you have to make the best of it while you can. Go to school. Get a part time job so you are not at home as much. Just do what you got to do because your attitude right now wont help. You wouldn't be able to make it on your own. You and your father may not get a long but he still loves you.

i know what you are going threw just to let you know you don't need him to sign papers go get a job that will help you out i know all this because i went threw a smilier thing but i moved out when i was 16 so don't to listen all that mambo jumbo you have rights look them up and good luck

From my own experance i learned that you can leave home at 17 if your dad calles you in run away you can be a refuse to go home and there are people who can help you start proceeder to be on your own. they can also help draw up an agreement between your parent and Aunt or anyone else you want to live with.

look up things on emancipation it is where you can show that you are ready to be legal just like if you were 18 Good Luck hon....
