take ibuprofen because it's a pain reliever and anti-inflammatory. see a doctor and they might be able to proscribe you something a little stronger than ibuprofen. although, if they try to prescribe you a dosage of 600-800 mgs of ibuprofen dont take it cause it'll be cheaper to buy it off the shelf and take 3 caps (600 mgs) or 4 caps (800 mgs) to get the exact same pain relief.

Wow, actual surgical removal?

I pealed my big toe nail off while jogging. In this case it's called "black toe." It was just as you described -- but mostly watery.

I was back jogging full speed (but in new shoes) within 2-3 days --YOU won't be out there running about for awhile -- but you have to hang tough and be has highly motivated as you can be. Follow the instructions on OTC pain meds that emphasize pain and swelling reduction.

Depending on the circumstances of why your nail (nail bed, too?) had to be removed -- I hope nothing else is wrong -- you may be good in 2 weeks or less.

Good luck!

Did the Dr remove your toe nail? If so I would call him and ask him how to relieve the pain. Sometimes if you put a fresh bandage on, then that will help.

I had the same thing happen to me. Doc wouldn't prescribe anything but ibuprofen. I had to play a basketball game on mine 1 day after removal of "big toe" nail. Grit your teeth and just get through!

certainly, that's quite painful the two for the period of and later on. curiously, to you, lacking college is the better area so communicate that. Having an ingrown toenail is miserably painful so which you're able to be satisfied to be getting it dealt with. Suck it up a splash bit. that's probable no longer the worst soreness you will ever have in existence.

take pain reliever or ibuprofen and elevate your foot. sometimes having your foot down causes pressure and elevating it relieves this pressure.
