Anyone who recently applied for a passport in person. How long did you wait? What country are you in?

I just applied for a Canadian passport. It took 8 hours in line.

8 hours!!! Jeez! I went to the local post office and did it during my lunch of one hour. I am in the States and it did take approx 6 weeks to receive the passport in the mail. But I also did go before they started the new policy. I went in October.
