I tried to download LimeWire as a means to download music for my iPod. I tried several times unsuccessfully.

this is from Download.com, so you shouldn't have any problems with it.
BUT, you gotta be keen, see, there's a bunch of crap on there....just look for a match that doesn't have too many sources.....and make sure the song isn't a small file, cuz then it's spam.

I have used Limewire for a couple of years now and have had no problems with getting music to download for my iPod. It's very user friendly--I just put it on my parents computer for my mom to use with her iPod. What kind of problems are you having?

i ahve had limewire for nearly 3 yrs n its done me just fine. i currently have limewire 4.12.6 go to www.limewire.co.uk and download from there you dont need to be a member.you could even google it.make sure you set the player from windows media to itunes so you ca transfer to ipod

i wouldnt recommend using limewire as when i had it i had lots of viruses and problems with my p.c.Couldnt clear all the viruses and trojans that came through with it so had to reformat the p.c.

yah i have tried couple of times and it works.....all you gotta do is put your search and then double click the song to download.

Personally i wouldn't use limewire, i've heard it's illegal to share music files that way and you get serious spyware on there.
I dunno, but i wouldn't use it.
