1Cor.11:5-6
5 And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head--it is just as though her head were shaved.
6 If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off; and if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head.

I guess they have been involved in stylish clothing given 0.5 the possibility! I even have in no way heard the argument that a head overlaying could be worn because of the fact MARY develop into veiled. however the Bible does practice in a million Corinthians 11:15 that a woman's long hair is her overlaying - so as that's the only overlaying that God demands, no longer a textile veil.

This portrayal is an accurate depiction of the style of Jewish culture of the time. A covered head is a sign of demurity and respect. A prostitute would go bare-headed.

And the previous comment that Mary had other children is completely false.

I think that is just the perceived style of the day. I never thought any more of it than that. And btw, she's not a virgin anymore. She had more kids after Jesus in the normal way.
