No way!!! its a good place to live in especially if you have friends around there, so much things to do, clubbing, shopping, culture and history as well, especially when the old buildings from the past are still well persevered and in use, can even go to where Shakespear lived and died, we can really learn a lot of history in uk, cheers

First we had some magnificent weather last year and this winter hasn't been so cold. However you get used to the climate you live in eventually, your tolerance to either heat or cold generally adjusts. So the weather to us is not such a big a deal as you might suppose.
That said there is loads to do in England and Britain in general. Our cities have night life that many people come to from all over the world to enjoy - cutting edge bands Our countryside is varied and beautiful. Most people live fairly close to a place worth visiting and we have history coming out of our ears. Then don't let me forget sport, great places to eat, pubs with fabulous atmosphere and all sorts of local, clubs and societies that people get involved in. Boring - heck no - too much going on - unless you are brain dead or soulless.

Hmm well I live in York which is okaaaay I suppose but not really a lot going on here! Its a very very beautiful city, its just been voted top place to visit in the WHOLE of Europe but seeing as though youre not a tourist im sure you wont care about that. Leeds is pretty cool in my opinion. Loads of really good shops and restuarants and a brilliant night life with loads of cool clubs and bars. You would definatley never be bored there or even better my favourite place in england ever would be manchester. I am definatley gonna live there at some point in my life. Basically like leeds but on a much much bigger scale and in my opinion even friendlier. Good luck. I know how it feels to be bored with your town!

Ecky has got this one nailed.
I come from Greece and your question would be much more relevant for the islands out there.
When the weather goes bad there really is nothing to do. No-one goes out when it rains so the bars are empty (or shut anyway).
The highlight on my island was an ancient old film being played on a large screen at the local high school on a Saturday night.
In comparison, living in England is like Las Vegas !

In England I've only been to London and I can assure you it's not boring at all.For the rest of the country I guess there are interesting places and more boring ones like everywhere.Unfortunately the weather is a real drawback.

England is a great place to live, for the English, I'm Welsh and proud of it, it's a little better here than England, but I like the English! Good old Ecky, always true to form!!!

Yes it is boring. Whether the weather is good or not..
No Amazing beaches, No outback, No Grand canyons, No mountains, no waterfalls (that i can think of), can't ski/snowboard, Can't just randomly go like water skiing.... there is nothing Amazing about this place.
It's just dull...
You can shop, go clubbing, Pub, Cinema, Bowling..... Walking????
Seriously that is like it. There are some "interesting" (yawn) sites and buildings... Ooooh Yay.
Can you tell i am bored of living here? lol

It is not boring!! I may say that London is one of the most live places on earth, lots of fun, run around the river on westminster, look at the people, go to a pub, go to the tube and mind the gap
There are plenty of theatres, lots of stuff to do, people are extremely friendly, girls are gorgeous, if it wouldn't be for the cost of living and small houses it would be a paradise

I don't think so. I'm going there for the first time in June and I'm counting on having a really exciting cultural experience. I'm also hoping to do a little pub hoping and meet some new friends.

I think it all depends on how old you are... im 17 and i'm finding it quite boring because there isn't anything to do when the weather is like it usually but if your younger there things for you to do and when your older theres other things to do but because im not exactly legal to go to clubs or pubs and its cold out where is there to go except the cinema!

I wish it was bigger geographically.
Theres a lot of cultural stuff you can do - Art, galleries,
architecture. Theatre, films. Dance. Great music.
Loads of evening courses in big cities
physical stuff - lowsy weather but great walking and surfing.
The walking is more dramatic in Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
Europe - Austria, France, Italy is better for the outdoor,
or US and Australia.
