I just downloaded windows media player 11 and im sorry i did!!! is there a way i can get back windows media 10 without un installing 11 because i dont want losing the thousands of songs i have. just to put them back on again!!!!!!!!! thanks

Try transfaring all your song and music to a disc or floppy and use the system restore going back to when you had media 10 then put your music back on to the media 10 software.

You can backup your library index by copying the files in this folder :
C:\Documents and Settings\*** YOUR USER NAME ***\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player
Removing Media Player 11 will not remove the music files themselves.

a few weeks ago i was just like you ..i thought i had lost all my music ..but you can transfer them all to ur new library..you just need some time to adapt to the new media player...click some buttons and just see what it can do!!!
