Cut a V in the middle of your toenail, not too short though, this will release the pressure from the side, it works every time...thats what the doc does.

if you can pull your flesh away from the nail, try putting a piece of tape between the two. Look at the corner of the nail. If it is bent under you might need surgery to modify the nail bed.

I had a problem with ingrown toenails when I was a kid. Sorry to have to tell you this, but you are going to need surgery if you really want to be rid of it. Be careful how you cut our other nails - keep them square, not round.

Soak it in warm water with Epsom Salts dissolved in it.

Go see your doctor who can remove it for you. But a lot of times they grow back ingrown. These are very painful.
