Once your financing is approved and signed, the car dealership is paid by the lien holder. they no longer have any interest in your vehicle whatsoever. It's yours! Did you call them anyway?

If the lien holder (financing company) did NOT repo your car, there is only one solution.. Your vehicle has been stolen.

I think the first question is are you sure that it was the dealer? You obviously didnt see them take it because u said it was in the middle of the night. We had this happen once and assumed our car was repossessed but we called the finance company and they said no too. We then realized our car had been stolen. Even if it was put on a tow truck that could have been the case. If someone wants the car bad enough they will find a way to get it

Sounds like you got robbed. Are you sure the car lot took it? Normally repossesion is done by the financer, not the dealer. Usually takes three months of missed payments too. Did you stiff the dealer on the down payment, or write them a hot check? Then they can take it back.

They shouldn't have asked you for anything more after you got your car. If you have made the payments since you got it, call them and complain. Threaten to bring the police with you. This doesn't sound right. Or, was it parked illegally? Like on a snow rout when they are trying to plow? Check that.
